Hi, we’re Bob and Mary DeClue, the proud owners of Caring Transitions of Central St. Louis. For us, Caring Transitions is more than a business; it’s a calling. We’ve spent over two decades in real estate, with many of our clients being seniors and families selling their estate. We’re excited to expand our services with Caring Transitions so that we can now fully help clients navigate the complex process of relocating, downsizing, and holding estate sales. Our experience has taught us the value of a supportive hand during these times. Our path to Caring Transitions began with our own family’s experiences. We’ve seen the challenges and emotional toll that transitioning from a family home can bring. Bob managed the challenging task of preparing his parents’ home for sale, a process that took years, even with our real estate background. Mary’s extensive work in social work and gerontology provided her with insight into the struggles families face when a loved one can no longer live independently. Together, we recognized the need for a compassionate, all-encompassing service to help people in these situations – and that’s what led us to Caring Transitions. We aim to provide a service that we wish had been available to us, one that eases the burden on families and honors the legacy of those transitioning. We are lifelong residents of St. Louis -- Bob, born and raised here, and Mary, who moved to attend Washington University. We’ve formed deep ties and are thrilled to serve the community that has helped us raise our family. Our family is at the center of everything we do, with three daughters, one making us proud military parents. As a family, we understand the importance of support and guidance.
